Mr. SAK Ekramuzzaman

Mr. SAK Ekramuzzaman is one of the major local equity investors in RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited. Besides managing diversified business interests of the RAK Group, he is also involved in a number of other business interests in Bangladesh. Mr. Ekramuzzaman is also the member of the Board of RAK Power Pvt. Ltd. and RAK Security and Services (Pvt.) Ltd., subsidiaries of RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited.

Mr. Ekramuzzaman has been conferred as “CIP Industry 2017” by the Government of Bangladesh in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the industrial development of Bangladesh.

Mr. Muhammad Shahidul Islam FCS

Mr. Muhammad Shahidul Islam is the Company Secretary of RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited since 2010. He joined the Company in 2009 as Assistant Company Secretary and was designated prior to assuming the current position. Before joining the Company, Mr. Shahidul was Assistant Vice President at Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Limited, responsible for Compliances, Legal Issues, Share and Capital Market Operations of the Company. His professional career spans over 20 years in Company Secretariat, Corporate Affairs, Compliances, Initial Public Offering (IPO), Legal, Capital Market Operations and Internal Audit covering Manufacturing and Insurance sectors. His prior post qualification employers include Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Limited and Progressive Life Insurance Company Limited.

Mr. Shahidul is a Commerce graduate. He is a qualified Chartered Secretary and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB). He has participated many professional training courses namely Corporate Affairs Management, Merger and Acquisition, Compliance in Corporate Governance etc.

MR. Mizanur Rahman

Mr. Mizanur Rahman is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited, having assumed the role on 8 February 2026. He brings over 27 years of leadership experience in sales and marketing, with a strong focus on the Building Materials industry, particularly Tiles and Sanitary Ware.

Before joining the Company, Mr. Rahman served as Vice President at RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited and held senior leadership positions at Stella, Abul Khair Group. He has extensive experience in business growth, market expansion, brand development, and export operations across GCC, SAARC, Africa, EPZs, and local markets.

Mr. Rahman holds an MBA from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, a Master of Science in Agriculture and Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSc of AG Economics -  Hons.) from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh.

Mr. Mohammad Samsul Arefin

Mr. Mohammad Samsul Arefin is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant and fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMA) having Master’s degree in Accounting from National University. He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) qualified from CIMA, UK.

Mr. Arefin has more than 20 years of professional experience with renowned multinational companies namely Expolanka (Bangladesh) Limited, Novartis (Bangladesh) Limited and BASF (Bangladesh) Limited in the field of Financial Reporting and Accounting, Business Planning & Analysis, Supply Chain Management, Internal Audit & Compliance etc. He also successfully worked in several international projects undertaken by his previous organization. Mr. Arefin has been working in rak ceramics (bangladesh) limited since may 2018.

Mr. Mohammad Riyad Hossain

Mr. Mohammad Riyad Hossain joined as the Head of HR under HR & Admin Department at RAK Ceramics (Bangladesh) Limited on 20th October 2025. On January, 2026, Mr. Hossain was promoted to the position of “Chief Human Resources Officer” (CHRO).

Mr. Hossain completed his MBA from North South University and brings with him over 24 years of extensive experience in Human Resource Leadership, having served as Head of Human Resources / CHRO / Director at several renowned multinational and local organizations. His career spans across diverse industries including FMCG, RMG & Textile, Building Materials (Cement, Ceramics, and Steel & Auto Bricks), and Shipping & Logistics & E-Commerce.

His expertise spans Strategic HR Management, Change Management, HR Transformation, Organizational Planning, Industrial Relations and Policy Development. Throughout his career, he has focused on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to foster organizational growth and maintain operational excellence.

Mr. Hossain is a “Marshall Goldsmith Certified Leadership Assessor” and was recognized by the World HRD Congress (2019) as one of the “101 Most Influential Global HR Leaders”. He was also honored as one of the “Top Voices of HR Leadership” by People Hum. He is also a Life Fellow of Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM).

He has participated in over 1,000 training programs, seminars and workshops both locally and internationally. His approach integrates strategic insight with practical application, ensuring that HR remains a key driver of organizational culture, employee engagement and business success.

MR. RANGA NAGESWARA RAO

Mr. Ranga Nageswara Rao is a seasoned General Manager at RAK Ceramics, the world’s leading ceramics manufacturer, with over 20 years of experience. He excels in production management, quality assurance, and process optimization, consistently implementing strategies that boost productivity and profitability. 

At RAK Ceramics, Mr. Nageswara has advanced through key roles, driving significant improvements in production operations and collaborating closely with safety and quality teams. His contributions to the "Magic triangle" project and his recognition as the best manufacturing excellence leader underscore his impact on the company. 

Mr. Nageswara holds an MBA from Torrens University, Australia, and A Bachelor of Technology in ceramics from the Indian Institute of Ceramics, Kolkata. His early career in India focused on quality control and production supervision, laying the groundwork for his expertise. Based in the UAE, Mr. Nageswara continues to lead in advancing manufacturing excellence at RAK Ceramics.

MR. MD. SHARIFUL ISLAM

MR. MD. SHARIFUL ISLAM JOINED AS THE HEAD OF INTERNAL AUDIT AND COMPLIANCE AT RAK CERAMICS (BANGLADESH) LIMITED ON 13 NOVEMBER 2024.  HIS PROFESSIONAL CAREER SPANS OVER 12 YEARS OF COMPREHENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN NTERNAL AUDIT, INTERNAL CONTROL, CORPORATE GOVERNANCE, FINANCIAL AND WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, AND CREDIT CONTROL COVERING MANUFACTURING SECTORS.

BEFORE Joining in rak CERAMICS (bANGLADESH) lIMITED MR. SHARIFUL HAS AN EXTENSIVE BACKGROUND IN FINANCE AND INTERNAL AUDIT IN LEADERSHIP ROLES AT JENPHAR BANGLADESH LTD. AND UNICORN, A SUBSIDIARY OF LR GLOBAL BANGLADESH LTD.

MR. SHARIFUL COMPLETE HIS GREDUATION IN ACCOUNTING FROM OXFORD BROOKES UNIVERSITY, UK. HE IS A QUALIFIED CHARTERED CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANT (ACCA) ACCREDITED BY THE ASSOCIATION OF CHARTERED CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANTS, UK. HE ALSO COMPLETED THE CERTIFIED ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN COURSE AT FTMS, MALAYSIA.

MR. VELAYUTHAM CHELLADURAI

MR. VELAYUTHAM CHELLADURAI JOINED AS THE DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER – SANITARYWARE MANUFACTURING RAK CERAMICS (BANGLADESH) LIMITED ON 16 SEPTEMBER 2025. HIS PROFESSIONAL CAREER SPANS OVER 32 YEARS OF COMPREHENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN SANITARYWARE MANUFACTURING SECTOR.

BEFORE JOINING IN RAK CERAMICS (BANGLADESH) LIMITED MR. CHELLADURAI HAS AN EXTENSIVE BACKGROUND IN SANITARYWARE KILN EXPERIENCE OVER 20 YEARS AT NEYCER INDIA LTD AND RAK UAE. OVERLL 12 YEARS PLANT OPERATION OF MANUFACTRUING AT BANGLADESH, UAE AND INDIA SANITARYWARE MANUFACTURING UNITS OF RAK CERAMICS.

MR. CHELLADURAI COMPLETE HIS GRADUATION IN CERAMICS FROM INSTITUTE OF CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY TAMILNADU, INDIA IN THE YEAR 1993. COMPLETED MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (WITH SPECIALIZATION IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT) FROM JAIPUR NATIONAL UNIVERSITY, INDIA IN THE YEAR 2022.
