Background

RAK Hospital is the government hospital of Ras Al Khaimah, which is a joint venture company between ETA Star Healthcare of Dubai and the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras al Khaimah.

Scope

RAK Hospital is providing quality health care with highly qualified and skilled nursing and medical staff. Currently RAK Hospital offers specialties in anesthesiology, intensive care, cardiology, dental and orthodontics, dermatology, general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pathology, radiology and general practice. The RAK Ceramics products selected by the contractor were chosen for their durability, high breakage strength and their resistance to stains, scratches, thermal shocks, frost, acid and alkali chemicals.

Results

RAK Hospital is a high quality medical centre and required a tiling solution to match the quality and professionalism of the environment. RAK Ceramics tiling solution met the required standards necessary for a hospital environment and we are proud to have been part of the RAK Hospital project.
