kempinski hotel
Background
The Kempinski Hotel, Manama is one of the most luxurious hotels in Bahrain, featuring superb amenities and services to thousands of visitors and tourists every year. The hotel is a joint venture of Majid Al Futtaim and the Kempinski Group of hotels. This 5 star hotel is one of the finest hotel developments in the Middle East and was completed in late 2010.
Scope
The designer and contractor were looking to develop the hotel interior as the “new frontier” of guest experiences. To meet their requirements, large format white Imperial Slabs from RAK Ceramics’ finest range were chosen. The polished surface of the Imperial Slabs added appropriate grandeur and splendor to the hotel surroundings. The extra thick 20 mm slabs were installed in entrances, corridors and lounges to accommodate heavy footfall, whereas 13 mm thick slabs were used inside guestrooms. The marble finish slabs are extremely durable and therefore maintain their elegant look over a long period of time.
Results
The luxurious Kempinski Hotel has set benchmark standards in Bahrain and it has been listed amongst the best in hotels and hospitality services in region. RAK Ceramics supported this prestigious project by supplying the hotel with one of its premium products. The flexibility of the large format slabs was received positively by the hotel architects who were also impressed with the durability of the tile, the quality and the production capabilities of RAK Ceramics
