RAK Ceramics Design Contest
at the Ras Al Khaimah Art 2027 Festival
The Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival, in collaboration with RAK Ceramics and RAK Porcelain, invites UAE nationals and UAE-based designers to participate in a ceramics design contest celebrating creativity, innovation, and design excellence.
This contest bridges the artistic vision of designers with the industrial expertise of RAK Ceramics. The Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival provides the creative platform, curatorial framework, and public visibility, while RAK Ceramics and RAK Porcelain offer production capabilities, design mentorship, and material expertise to bring the winning design concept to life.
About the Contest

Winning designs will be produced by RAK Ceramics and RAK Porcelain and developed as part of an official product line, supported by a production and marketing plan.

Timeline
Submission Requirements
Selection
Designs will be reviewed by a joint jury from Ras Al Khaimah Art 2027 Festival, RAK Ceramics, and RAK Porcelain, based on creativity, design quality, feasibility for production, and alignment with brand values.

- Short bio (including full name, nationality, and country of origin)

- Social media (Instagram or website)
Project Proposal
- Concept description (max. 300 words)
- Sketches or mock-ups (integrating downloadable models that will be provided)
- Materials and dimensions
Where design vision meets industrial expertise,

Each designer may submit up to 2 design proposals. No physical prototypes required.
