1-The contest is open to students of fine arts , architecture & design around the world. Contestants should produce a proof of being a bonafide student, and should be under 25 years age.
2- The Entries should be original creation of the contestant , and should not be a copy of any existing design, concept or like creation already in existence .Contestants should provide a declaration regards the same.
3-RAK Ceramics retains the right to reject any or all design and annul the award if it finds that the design is not originally the work of the contestant.
4-The entries will be judged by an panel of judges in Ceramic Design & technology appointed by the Company to review the designs . Decisions of the contest judges as regards acceptability of the entries, selection for the Awards and the winners thereof are final .
5-By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which RAK CERAMICS may deem appropriate.
6-The person(s) whose name(s) is being chosen / shortlisted as the winner(s) of the specific prize MAY be required to answer a questionnaire pertaining to their entry before the prize is awarded to them. The panel of judges shall have the right to demand the proofs pertaining to the declarations of the contestant or for any other matter.
7-Winners / short listed candidates for the Awards must sign a release form as prepared by RAK CERAMICS acknowledging their acceptance and understanding of the complete contest rules
8-This contest is subject to the jurisdiction of the local laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, U.A.E. .
9-R.A.K. CERAMICS . reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.
10-If the prize involves a destination and accommodation, destination accommodation is at the discretion of R.A.K. CERAMICS , and is subject to ticket availability. In the process of accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that RAK Ceramics will not be held liable for any loss, damage & injury associated with accepting the award.
11-Only one entry is permissible per person in each category of the award.- e,g. one entry in Modern category, One entry in Classic & One entry in Antique is permitted from an individual.. The Awards will judged commonly across the three categories, and not separately to be presented for each category..
12-RAK Ceramics retains the right to ask additional information on the entries proposed
13-All expenses on participation will be on account of the contestants
