RAK Ceramics holds its first ever Global Marketing Forum to share best practices across company’s worldwide operations

RAK Ceramics, the world's largest ceramic tiles & bathware manufacturing company, has announced that it recently organised a Global Marketing Forum in Ras Al Khaimah where the company’s senior marketing executives from all over the world gathered to share best practices. The forum aimed to achieve synchronization of marketing and communication activities of RAK Ceramics at both the regional and international levels in order to ensure implementation consistent global branding strategies and optimizing the global marketing resources.

The forum, which was attended by RAK Ceramics’ marketing and communications professionals from the UK, Germany, India, Italy, Saudi Arabia and Australia, facilitated the sharing of various marketing tools used in different regions and discussed how the tools can be made available to the company’s office globally, so as to achieve maximum cost efficiency. Other key topics of discussion during the forum covered corporate branding, corporate communications, trade marketing, product marketing, market research, promotional tools such as audio-visuals, and graphic design and collateral.

“RAK Ceramics today is a brand with a truly global appeal, making it imperative for us to ensure a certain level of uniformity in the marketing and communications messages we adopt to promote the brand regionally and globally. Though we continuously deal with various global marketing teams on a regular basis but this is the first time we were gathering together on a single platform with marketing professionals from all our global offices sharing their experiences and best practices, and we believe that the outcome of this effort has been extremely rewarding. We now plan to hold forums on this scale on a regular basis,” said Abulla Mahmood, HEAD-MARCOM, RAK Ceramics.
