The SAP project got a name this week. The core and power users call it – RAK-On-SAP (pronounced as Rock-On SAP). A competition was held among the core and power users for suggesting suitable names for the SAP project at RAK Ceramics. There was an overwhelming response with almost all of them sending in their proposals

Three names were chosen out of the received entries by a panel consisting of Mr. Sharat Krishna Menon, Consulting Director, SAP Global Development Centre, Bangalore, India and Mr. Dinesh Mohan, General Manager-SAP Projects & IT, RAK Ceramics and put to vote for selecting the winner.

The winning entry, it was found, had two proposers – Mr. Nazer, Core User, HR and Mr. S. Rao, Power User, Sales & Distribution. The winners and the two runners up received prizes and were felicitated at the Core Team meet.So, colleagues, it is time now to rock – RAK-on-SAP!
